Hausprojekt Linie 206 is a self-organised residential, political and cultural space in Berlin-Mitte, located at Linienstraße 206 near Rosenthaler Platz. The project has its roots in Berlin’s post-Wall squatting movement and has existed as an alternative house project since 1990. Today, Linie 206 provides space for community gatherings, political and cultural events, live music, Soli events, Küfas and other self-organised activities. The project stands for an antifascist, antiracist and queer-feminist culture and is part of Berlin’s long tradition of autonomous, alternative and solidarity-based spaces.
