B.L.O.-Ateliers offer space for workshops and studios to a great variety of artists and makers. It is one of the largest and most diverse artist communities in East Berlin. Around 90 people work here, among which are visual artists, musicians, photographers, blacksmiths and special effect technicians. B.L.O.-Ateliers produces media art, sculpture, installations, furniture, concrete castings, metal works, bamboo bikes, boomerangs and much more. It engages the public through concerts, workshops, film screenings, lectures, theater and exhibitions. It regularly organizes non-profit projects with various cultural and municipal partners.
